Tudor House, Letchmore Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire

This timber-framed house was built in the late 15th or early 16th century. It was used as a workhouse from 1759-1835 and then a school until 1885. It became the office and residence of a manager for the local gas company until 1936, and then reverted to a dwelling.
