Town Hall, Manchester, Greater Manchester

A view from Cross Street looking across Albert Square towards the west front of Manchester Town Hall. It was built between 1867 and 1877 to the designs of Alfred Waterhouse. It is in a 13th century Gothic style of sandstone with a slate roof. It was built on a triangular site the tall clock tower dominating Albert Square.
