Town Centre, Cirencester, Gloucestershire

This aerial view shows the Market Place and St John the Baptist Parish Church in the centre of the image. It shows the original roads crossing in the centre of the town. The street running South (at the top of the image) is Cricklade Street with the road that ran to Gloucester (Dollar Street and Gloucester Street) opposite. A ring road was built in the mid 1970s to keep through traffic away from the historic town centre.
