Tower House, 1 and 2 Crown Street, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

This building dates back to 1846 and was a former Penny Bank. It was possibly designed by the famous architect L. N. Cottingham (1787-1847). It has been built in red brick with a purple pattern. Its East front joins on to Tower Cottage which was made in the same style.
