The Mill, Braunston, Northamptonshire
This is a tower mill. It was built in c1800 for cereal milling (grinding). It stopped working in c1895. It was converted to a house in c1920. This is when the top floor was demolished. Find out more about windmills and watermills in our Teachers' Kit - Mills.
