The Manor House, Bishop Auckland, Durham

This manor house was the main residence of the Eden family from the 16th century until they moved to Windlestone. It stands on West Green and is built to an H-plan with a square stair tower between the 2 rear arms of the house. It was later used as a brewery and then as an hotel.
