St Nicholas' Cathedral, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

The majority of the Cathedral of St Nicholas in Newcastle upon Tyne dates back to the 14th and 15th centuries. Its most striking feature is the west tower, seen here, which is surmounted by a 'crown' supporting a lantern.
