St Anthony's Hall, Peasholme Green, York

This building was originally a timber-framed guildhall. It was built in 1446-53 for the Guild of St Anthony. This Guild was dissolved in 1627. The building was used as a military hospital and prison in 1655. Then from 1705 to 1946, it was occupied by the York Blue Coat School.
