Royal Naval War Memorial, Portsmouth, Portsmouth

This memorial was built to commemorate members of the Royal Navy who died in the First World War. It is a fine example of this type of memorial. There are identical copies of it in the naval ports of Chatham and Plymouth. In 1955 it was altered to include a memorial to those killed in World War Two.
