Rose Street, Wokingham, Wokingham

General view looking east along Rose Street, showing the timber framed buildings on the south side of the street, with the tower of All Saints' Church in the background. The house on the far right (No. 33) is a medieval Hall House and was built in the early 1400s. The row of houses next to it was originally one house of a type known as a Wealden House. It was built in the mid 1400s, as was the house to the left of it. This row of buildings is an excellent example of what a medieval street would have looked like.
