Riviera Cinema, Den Crescent, Teignmouth, Devon

This building was originally the Assembly Rooms. It was built in 1826 and designed by Andrew Patey of Exeter in Neoclassical style. It formed the centrepiece of an elegant crescent facing the sea. The outside of the building was restored and altered in 1934 and the interior was altered when it was converted into a cinema in the mid 20th century.
