Morton Almshouses, Kidlington, Oxfordshire

In 1671 Sir William Morton of Hampden manor built Lady Anne Morton's almshouse. They are in memory of his wife and five of their children. They were for three poor men and three poor women from Kidlington parish. Morton specified that the almspeople were to be chosen by him and his heirs.
