Moreton's Charity Almshouses, Cottenham, Cambridgeshire

These former almshouses date back to 1853. John Moreton, by deed of 1671, gave half the rental of houses in Holborn, London, for poor relief and for apprentices in Cottenham. This paid for several apprentices and two sets of almshouse over the yeas. These almshouse were still in use in 1987.
