Memorial and American military cemetery, Madingley, Cambridgeshire
This shows an American Second World War memorial, chapel and museum room. It was built between 1952 and 1954 by the American Battle Monuments Commission. The site this memorial stands is on land donated to the commission by Cambridge University. The Memorial is a remarkable building of extremely high quality which is historically important as a war memorial.
