Mansion House, Blisland, Cornwall

This house dates from the late 16th century and may possibly be even earlier. In 1595 the house was granted to Humphrey Kempe, Jane his wife and his son William for 3 lives. In 1627 it was sold to Obadiah Reynolds. He probably extended and partly remodelled it after 1627. The house was converted into several cottages in the 18th or 19th century. It was converted back into 1 house and restored in the late 20th century.
