Leicester's Hospital, Warwick, Warwickshire

The timber framed south block and entrance archway of Leicester's Hospital seen from the courtyard. The hospital was originally built by the Guild of St George in 1483. It was taken over by Robert Dudley, Lord Leicester, in 1571 and converted into a pensioners' hospital. The hospital would have been similar to an almshouse.
