Keswick Railway Station, Station Road, Keswick, Cumbria

Keswick station was built in the 1860s for the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway Company. It is built from Lakeland green stone with a green slate roof. There is a very fine glass canopy over the whole platform (about 240 ft) consisting of about 20 gabled bays, supported on iron columns and iron arches with delicate iron tracery. The station is now disused.
