Hulme's Pit, Hulme's Lane, Denton, Greater Manchester

Hulme's Pit, also known as Holme's Pit, originated in the 18th century and was one of the earliest coal mines in Denton. The pit closed in c.1930 and all the associated structures were subsequently demolished.
