Hemsted House, Benenden School, Cranbrook Road, Benenden, Kent

The main building of Benenden School which was formerly a large gentleman's residence. It was built in 1859-62 for the Earl of Cranbrook, in Elizabethan style. The crenellated battlements were added later.
