Framework Knitting Workshop, Hindersitch Lane, Crich, Derbyshire

This former framework knitting workshop dates from the early 19th century. This workshop would have been used by a family with one stocking frame. Frame work knitting was an industry that started off as a 'cottage industry' in houses or workshops like this.
