Former Grammar School, Cappell Lane, Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire

This building was built as a Grammar School. It was built in c1636 for Sir Edward Baish. It had accommodation for a Schoolmaster. It was also used for church services on Sundays in the 17th century. The bell is said to be dated 1704. The clock dates from 1788. It was sold in 1913 and is no longer a school.
