Fennel Memorial Homes, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

This group of 4 purpose-built flats were also known as The Quaker Cottages. They were built in 1875 with money inherited by Mrs Hare from her Quaker brother and sister. These flats were intended to be used for the occupation of poor Quaker women prepared to promote the work of the Friends.
