Engine House of former Tyne Main Colliery, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear
This building housed a 180hp engine made by Thomas Easton. It was installed in 1820 to pump water out of the mine and was the most powerful engine on Tyneside, it could move 1.5 million gallons of water a day.
