Disraeli Monument, Tinkers Hill, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

This commemorative monument was designed by Edward Buckton Lamb. The monument was built in memory of Isaac Disraeli (1766-1848), who was a successful literary critic and historian. Isaac Disraeli's eldest son was the Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli. The monument was commissioned as a "surprise" gift for Benjamin from his wife Mary Anne.
