Chesterton Tower, Chesterton, Cambridgeshire

This tower was built in the mid 14th century. The building belonged to the administrator of the Abbot of Vercelli (in Italy). It is a rare example of the home of a foreign official. The building underwent large amounts of restoration in 1949, when the old material that held the building together was replaced with a more solid material.
