Butter Cross, High Street, Winchester, Hampshire

The Butter Cross on the High Street seen from the north-west, with a horse and cart to the left and boys and men sitting on the steps of the cross. The cross was built as a Market Cross in the early 1400s and was restored by George Gilbert Scott in 1865.
