World War I early warning system sound detection concrete dish. Designed to detect sound waves from approaching Zeppelin airships to give early warning of attacks. Scheduled Ancient Monument and Grade II listed building built c 1917.

Opening Arrangements

The site is contained within an allotment site. Public access is available whenever the allotment is open, normally 7 days a week from 7am to approximately 6pm.
