John Taylor Bell Foundry, The Bell Foundry, Freehold Street, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 1AR

Taylor's is a purpose-built Victorian foundry that has seen continuous production of bells since 1859. The grade II* listed Bell Foundry has cast more than 25,000 bells that are hung in over 100 countries. Incorporating a hand bell foundry, girder store and a site museum. c.1874 with later alterations and additions. The museum dates from 1985. Erecting, finishing and tuning shops, carpenter's shop, smithy, offices and carillon tower.

Tours of the John Taylor Bell foundry for the general public are available to book on the website: http://www.loughboroughbellfoundry.org/visit-us A programme of free engagement activities will also run during 2023, with details at: http://www.loughboroughbellfoundry.org/whats-on Please note that the museum is currently closed for major renovations, so tours will take in the manufacturing spaces but not the museum galleries.
