Description

This first full field survey of the entire length of the canal was carried out during March-April 2003 by staff at the Exeter office.The study was proposed by R Wilson-North, Exmoor National Park Authority archaeologist to enhance understanding of the impact on the area by the Knight family in the 19th century.
