Description

A study commissioned by Hackney Council and English Heritage in 2002 and completed in 2004 to appraise the South Shoreditch area of London in terms of new development and protection of the historic environment. In addition English Heritage initiated a comprehensive assessment of the areas commercial buildings in terms of historic character and significance.
