This day trip was for contracts in the North West area, including those at Darlington, Doncaster, Bolton on Dearne, Stubbs Wood, Huddersfield and Wigfield. W. K. Laing also joined the outing.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
