Description

A collection of eighty-three glass plate negatives documenting a selection of industrial, secular and ecclesiastical sites primarily in the south-east of England.

Many of the negatives are duplicates of or are very similar to images in the F J Palmer collection (PAL01), and he has subsequently been attributed as photographer. While there is no definitive evidence at present to tie the other images to this photographer, it is likely that Palmer took all of the photographs in this collection.

The collection was deposited with the RCHME in the 1990s, but it is not clear how this part of Palmer's work became separated from the main part of his photographic collection.
