Building Services Engineering Contractors

Only employ suitable qualified and registered contractors with relevant experience to install or alter building services in historic buildings.

For example for electrics, contractors should be members of the ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) or NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting).

Contractors should be able to follow all safety procedures while employing all special care necessary for work on historic buildings or parks and gardens.
